The Country Education Foundation – Griffith Branch held its major annual fundraiser for 2019 on May 3rd at the Binya Hall. This was the fourth Curry and Jam event and was a chance for people to gather at the Binya Hall, listen to live music, have a drink and a chat, and enjoy great, authentic Indian food.
The bands playing on the night were Trouserpants and Cold Cowboys. It was wonderful to have members of the Sikh community involved, donating their time to cook the great food.
Yenda Producers, Spencer & Bennett and RWE each donated a lamb to be cooked for the event.
Other generous contributors include Yarran Wines, Griffith City Council, MIA Coaches, Baiada, Yenda Hotel, Fred Cole Betta Home Living, Axikem, MIA Quikskips, Active Workwear and Griffith Leagues Club. All supporters helped to ensure the night was a success.
