

The past few months have seen a large part of Australia devastated by bush fires. The local area of the MIA has been very lucky to not have been affected by the bushfires.

People and businesses from the Leeton Community have shown their support to the bush fire recovery and support by donating to the affected people and areas.

Yenda Producers has delivered two truckloads of food and produce to the Albury/Wodonga area to be distributed to the Corryong Bushfire victims. Last Tuesday we delivered eight pallets of local produce to Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare to be distributed in Corryong. The load included packaged produce, bottled water, and fresh citrus, courtesy of Freedom Foods, Collier&Miller, and Pacific Fresh.

On Wednesday we delivered another 17 pallets of stockfeed and pet food to Landmark NorMac. The team at NorMac have helped out by distributing product to the RSPCA Albury Volunteer Branch, TJ RANCH Equine Education, individual customers affected by bushfires as well sending product to Agmate Rural Services Corryong for distribution.
