Retirement of Nayce Dalton from the Board of Directors
Nayce Dalton has stepped down from the Board of Directors of the Co-op after serving 16 years as a Director. During this time Nayce also held the position of Chair for a number of years. During his time on the Board, Nayce has overseen the growth of the Co-op from 3 branches to 7 branches which also coincided with the Co-op expanding outside of the MIA to NE Victoria, the expansion of Spencer & Bennett and the establishment of Yenda Prods Grain Pty Ltd. On behalf of the Board and the staff of the Co-op, we would like to congratulate and thank Nayce for his work during his time. We will look forward to having Nayce be a part of the 100-year birthday celebrations of the Co-op in 2025.
New Chair and Deputy Chair elected
Following the retirement of Nayce Dalton from the Board, the position of Chair was vacated. The Board have elected Michele Groat as Chair of the Co-op. Michele held the role of Deputy Chair, working alongside Nayce during the transition period. Michele becomes the Co-ops first female Chair. Craig Kefford has been elected as the new Deputy Chair of the Co-op. The Co-op is looking forward to working closely with Michele and Craig as we continue to work hard in servicing all of our members.
