Co-operatives are businesses that create value to share amongst their members and their communities.
Generally speaking, there are two types of co-operatives:

  1. Non-distributing co-operatives
A non-distributing co-op cannot share its profits with its members by distributing directly
to its members. However, it can benefit its members by offering more or better services.
  2. Distributing co-operatives
A distributing co-op is one that can distribute either some or all of its annual profits to members.

Your Yenda Producers Co-operative is a distributing co-op. We re-invest profits by providing better
services and by distributing financial rewards back to our members and the community in many ways.
