Yenda Producers Co-operative is proud to have more than 1,500 members covering a diverse range of industries, in particular farming. Established in 1925, Yenda Producers was formed with 10 shareholders to provide the members with farming inputs and to handle the fresh produce of its members.

Agronomist

Job Description

The principal purpose of this position is to provide technical assistance on agronomy issues, in consultation with the Senior Agronomist. The successful applicant will need to identify and report on pests and diseases including testing and recommendations on a variety of crops. You will need to provide customers with strategic forecasting and guidance in the development of crops and the water use requirements.

A remuneration package will be negotiated based on the relevant degree and a demonstrated passion for this field of work.

Horticulturalist

Business: Yenda Fruit & Case
Location: Yenda
Job Description
The principal purpose of this position is to provide quality horticultural advice and customer service. Where the successful applicant would identify and provide electronic recommendations of weeds, pests and other diseases on a variety of crops.

Also developing crop budgets and water use strategies for customers and provide farm plans, forecast crop requirements and reports using company procedures. All while keeping your finger on the pulse of the most current labels and permits. The successful applicant will be working within a team of 6 experienced horticulturists.

The position is based at Yenda Fruit and Case Branch and a remuneration package will be negotiated based on experience.

Office Administrator

Job Description

The principal purpose of this position is to provide confidential and high-quality office and human resources administrative support to the management of the Yenda Group. Duties include but are not limited to: providing recruitment and induction services, return to work coordination, training coordination, ensuring compliance within industrial relations and modern award conditions, maintaining employee file confidentiality at all times.

Job Description
Previous experience with pumps, valves and pipe repairs combined with physical fitness and fault finding capabilities are required.

RWE initially provided irrigation designs and consultative services to local farmers. Following a significant investment in plant and equipment, RWE has expanded to design, installation and maintenance of irrigation systems for rural, domestic and government sectors.

RWE also has an extensive retail section, offering a vast range of irrigation products, readily available to service an emergency breakdown for the corporate irrigation market.

Irrigation Designer

Job Description

The principal purpose of this position is to support Yenda Group in achievement of its operational and strategic objectives and plans, and to provide industry leading irrigation system designs that exceed customer expectations. The successful applicant will have five years technical industry experience and/or an equivalent certificate, diploma or degree qualification. 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing and delivering growth strategies. Liaising with installation/commissioning teams to ensure designs are in accordance with plans. Maintaining exisiting customer and supplier relationships, and developing new ones.
