Casual Customer Service Officer

Location: Leeton
Job Description

Yenda Producers is looking for a Customer Service Officer (casual) in the Leeton Branch.

Responsibilities include assisting the sales staff with customer service; assisting with stock counts and stock maintenance; and assisting with the maintenance of the Branch. The suitable applicant must be available to work Saturdays, and mid-week school holiday work is also available.

Your Role:

As Branch Manager, you will oversee all aspects of branch operations and staffing, including:

  • Customer & Supplier Relationships: Build and nurture strong connections with customers and suppliers.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a dedicated team, with responsibility for recruitment, performance, and staff development.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage branch budgets, review financial reports, and forecast stock requirements.
  • Growth & Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand the business and contribute to strategic development.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure branch compliance with WH&S standards and Agsafe program requirements.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive experience in retail/branch management, ideally from within the agriculture sector or a closely related industry.
  • Strong budget management skills, including forecasting and revenue responsibility.
  • A hands-on approach to team engagement and professional development for your team.
  • A passion for the rural community and agricultural industry and an understanding of their unique needs.

Please Note: You will also require a current driver’s license as well as Australian or NZ citizenship or Permanent Residency status.

A fork-lift licence is also required but if not currently held can be acquired once in the role.

Irrigation Installer

Location: Griffith
Job Description
Riverina Water Engineering (RWE) is seeking an Irrigation Installer based in our Griffith branch.

The successful applicant will undertake the installation and repair of commercial irrigation systems using our Project Scheduling and Quality Management programmes.

Duties include: 

  • Pump and pump shed installations.
  • PVC and Poly field work and associated assembly.
  • Control and automation.
  • Electrofusion and Butt Welding.
  • Machinery Operation.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, team members, clients, suppliers, subcontractors and interested stakeholders to achieve project standards, budgets and agreed time frames.
  • Lead by example, role model high level communication and ensure a practical approach to quality and safety.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with the installation of irrigation systems.
  • Practical knowledge of Irrigation/Pumping/Plumbing methods.
  • Ability to follow plans, organise resources and deliver quality customer service.
  • Verification of Competency for earthmoving and trenching machinery.
  • Dogman, confined spaces, forklift and working at heights licenses would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, trouble shoot and evaluate irrigation installation.
  • Proven ability to complete irrigation projects using initiative and solution-oriented ideas.

Electrician

Location: Griffith
Job Description

Formed in 2006 and previously known as Riverina Water Engineering, Yenda Prods Irrigation (RWE) is a collaboration between Yenda Producers Co-operative and Jak Ormesher. For over a decade RWE has expanded to become a major irrigation company and has gained recognition for introducing new technology and practices to the water industry. RWE is growing and is looking for a qualified Electrician to join the team. The successful applicant must be self-motivated and be able to work independently and in a team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the interpretation, installation, and maintenance of electrical and automation works in irrigation systems.
  • Interpreting irrigation system electrical requirements from in house and third party designs.
  • Determining electrical capacity for irrigation systems.
  • Providing bill of quantities and costings for electrical and automation works.
  • Installing and maintaining all components in pump sheds.
  • Installing or upgrading electrical boards and assessing and correcting electrical faults.
