Experienced Irrigation Installer/ Technician

Job Description

RWE is looking for an experienced Irrigation Installer/Technician.  The successful applicant will undertake the installation and repair of commercial irrigation systems using our Project Scheduling and Quality Management programmes.

RWE fabricates, designs, installs and maintains sustainable and innovative water solutions and irrigation systems throughout NSW. They have a large retail outlet in Griffith that supplies numerous irrigation and plumbing customers in the Riverina district – making RWE a one-stop-shop for all irrigation, filtration and plumbing needs.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Pump and pump shed installations.
  • PVC and Poly fieldwork and associated assembly.
  • Control and automation.
  • Electrofusion and Butt Welding.
  • Machinery Operation.
  • Water Meter Installation.
  • Working collaboratively with supervisors, team members, clients, suppliers, subcontractors and interested stakeholders to achieve project standards, budgets and agreed time frames.
  • Lead by example, role model high level communication and ensure a practical approach to quality and safety.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with the installation of irrigation systems.
  • Practical knowledge of Irrigation/Pumping/Plumbing methods.
  • Ability to follow plans, organise resources and deliver quality customer service.
  • Verification of Competency for earthmoving and trenching machinery.
  • Dogman, confined spaces, forklift and working at heights licenses would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, trouble shoot and evaluate irrigation installation.
  • Proven ability to complete irrigation projects using initiative and solution-oriented ideas.

Irrigation Project Manager

RWE is looking for an Irrigation Project Manager.  This is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a hands-on attitude to inspire and lead our successful and well-established team.

RWE fabricates, designs, installs and maintains sustainable and innovative water solutions and irrigation systems throughout New South Wales. They have a large retail outlet in Griffith that supplies numerous irrigation and plumbing customers in the Riverina district – making RWE a one-stop-shop for all irrigation, filtration and plumbing needs.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Quickly identify, analyse and evaluate current irrigation projects in place.
  • Co-ordinate, delegate and supervise the logistical requirements of each project.
  • Lead and assist Leading Hands and Irrigation Installers to ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Design, QMS & Risk Management Policies and Procedures.
  • Oversee, pivot if required and communicate on all projects to ensure effective and efficient resource allocation, documentation and work, health and safety.
  • Manage asset purchases and create and oversee maintenance schedules.
  • Oversee project procurement, installation and commissioning.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, team members and interested stakeholders to achieve standards, budgets and agreed time frames.
  • Lead by example, role model high-level communication and ensure a practical approach to quality outputs both internally and externally.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Post secondary qualifications in Irrigation and/or Project Management methodologies to be implemented practically and coherently (highly desirable).
  • Superior leadership capability with a minimum of 3 years people and project management (essential).
  • Practical knowledge of Irrigation/Pumping/Plumbing methodologies and design.
  • Superior time management, bring out the best in people, delegate where appropriate, allocate resources and deliver quality customer service.
  • Demonstrated planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting as you lead, participate in and complete irrigation projects using initiative and solution-oriented management.

Customer Service / Purchasing Officer

Job Description

Yenda Producers is looking for a Customer Service Officer/ Purchasing Officer to join the Griffith Branch. Duties include, but are not limited to: providing high level customer service and ensuring Griffith Branch stock levels are up to date; assisting the Purchasing Manager with quotation of products and providing client liaison regarding such products; working with agronomists, horticulturalists and field staff to ensure successful product delivery; and providing guidance and mentoring to  junior customer service staff. 

The successful applicant will work with multiple members of the Yenda Producers’ team to ensure Yenda’s stock and products are supplied seamlessly and reliably.

Essential requirements include an ability to work under pressure, customer service experience in an agricultural industry, excellent communication skills and a manual motor vehicle licence.
